Who are you, what do you do?

I'm best known for my blog SectionHiker.com about lightweight backpacking on the Appalachian Trail and in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. I've also completed Vermont's Long Trail and have backpacked coast-to-coast across Scotland twice in the TGO Challenge. I'm a hiking and backpacking trip leader for the Appalachian Mountain Club and a Guide for Andrew Skurka Adventures. I serve as a Long Trail Mentor for the Green Mountain Club and as a Leave No Trace Master Educator.
